Nino Ravicini is the visionary culinary maestro behind two iconic Japanese-style eateries nestled in the heart of the United States. Armed with a degree in industrial engineering, Ravicini has dedicated 23 years to the art of fusion, crafting a harmonious marriage of flavors he dubs “Sushi and Art.” With 16 years honing his craft in his native Venezuela and 7 more refining his vision in Florida alongside his partner, Sandra Mauro, Ravicini’s journey culminates in the exquisite Sushiato establishments.

The name “Sushiato” whispers Japanese tradition with a Latin twist, reflecting Ravicini’s innovative approach to gastronomy. But Sushiato is more than just a culinary haven; it’s a sanctuary where gastronomic artistry intertwines with the vibrant tapestry of visual arts. Ravicini explains, “The art in the name of the place obeys two reasons. The first is the art that emanates from the modification of the Japanese culinary tradition with ingredients from another part of the world, mainly Latin. Secondly, at Sushiato, we merge culinary art with real art. On our premises, various new artists exhibit their works.
